We’ve come to accept that that’s how it is. But it shouldn’t be how it is. Not everyone can up-skill and just move up. The company needs all these roles filled. So someone has to do them. And those people shouldn’t be left to rot when the company pulls in billions every quarter.

If you’re struggling to make ends meet at $15/hour then you need help figuring out how to manage your finances not a raise. That should amount to around 65~67k a year on an 8hr work day, 6 days a week. Sounds completely fair to me.
