This game still seriously needs at least a quest log. Just something simple. Bullet points. If I have to look up how to move a quest along, then your quest design is objectively cumbersome. And I’ve had to do this in countless quests. In many cases I’ve found the proper locations, but I visited them in the wrong order. In most other open world games, I maybe have to look up 1 or 2 bullet points of one quest out of the entire game. No we don’t need a Ubisoft system, that’s definitely not what I’m saying. But my time is short, and there is something to be said about the QoL of having a simple quest log. Malenia feels blatantly unfair and like a huge difficulty spike, and is killing the good time I had playing this game for the 150 hours prior 🙁 I hate that she hard counters shields. Had no problems blocking other bosses, then this bitch can heal without me taking damage. Had to cheese the bitch so I didn’t have to change my build. I couldn’t beat her while sticking to my dragon knight roleplay (and not using mimic tear). However after I decided to run mimic tear +10 with a blasphemous blade +10 she was pretty easy to stagger lock and then the range of the blasphemous blade skill took her out in her 2nd form I hate how it follwed Dark Souls formula of combat. I hate having to roll through attacks and I hate weapon movesets I loved Sekiro’s and Bloodborne combat system and weapons and it sucks how they downgraded back to rolling and getting 1 hit every 5 minutes

They should’ve made it like the Mafia michael scott vintage shirt and by the same token and previous Dark Souls games, that whenever a host uses a ember/rune arc; he would be able to get invaded. Invasions sometimes feel like a chore going against a host with some busted summons, it’s part of invasions but I’ve never had any trouble with it while playing the previous titles. I personally find invasions to be the thing that keeps the game alive for me so I was kind of bummed out it was locking away a part of the playerbase like this. My single criticism is … why the fuck is the sprint button the same as the roll button? So many missed rolls and extra lag because the system gets confused with inputs What system are you on? I only experience stutters when approaching large groups of enemies but even then it’s only from afar. I’m on PS4
