That was when I was eight, so I remember very little but I know that my last memories of him were depressing, it was just a shell of a jaundiced man who was being kept alive against his own wishes by machines. Then my dad spent the Made In 2020 3 Years Of Being Awesome 3 Year Old 3rd Birthday Stars Tye Die T-Shirt but in fact I love this next 20 years of my life saying that if he ever ended up like his dad, just leave him alone in a room with a shotgun and he would handle it. I hate hearing about someone in this terrible situation. On one hand he was at the Made In 2020 3 Years Of Being Awesome 3 Year Old 3rd Birthday Stars Tye Die T-Shirt but in fact I love this end and needed a helping hand to see him through which should be available. On the other hand, putting your loved one in that situation to do it themself is traumatizing. My grandfather suffered from mesothelioma. When he finally came home from the hospital and was in hospice care I held his head up while my grandmother brushed his teeth because he didn’t have the strength. When my grandmother left the room to rinse his toothbrush my grandfather said,”A (my nickname) get a ball bat and end this.” I didn’t follow through with my grandfathers request but, this moment has been in my head for over a decade. It hurts terribly seeing a once strong and vibrant person reduced to this end. It’s also a very heavy painful memory and conflicting one that I’m sure I will carry to my end. I hope they are lenient and understanding and I hope she is at peace with carrying out her loved ones request.
