Sounds like he’s living in denial. There’s no way he doesn’t remember what Sally said to him about him being a murderer. He always wanted to look up to his dad, but found out the Lucky Dog Butterscotch Blonde Red Keef Keith Richards Vintage Hotrod Country Outlaw Nashville TN Tennessee 2023 Shirt and I love this truth. He watched the idealized version of Barry in that movie and went along with it just like everyone else did. Deep down I’m sure he knows it’s wrong, but he chooses not to accept it. It’s so sad. Watching The Mask Collector play out, seeing them put everything Barry did on Gene… God, I wasn’t expecting a happy ending, but I was at least expecting some bittersweet note. See I don’t necessarily agree with this. He went through so much trauma in such a short amount of time, the events of the last three episodes were like two days, that he doesn’t remember a lot of what happened at all. My thoughts are the same on this. He was only a kid when this stuff happened, largely over the course of one night. It’s common to repress that sort of thing. The movie gives him something to project in the absence of those memories, and besides, it seems like Sally didn’t do anything to correct the public perception of Barry. It’s likely she hasn’t revisited the truth with John since then.

I’m curious about the Lucky Dog Butterscotch Blonde Red Keef Keith Richards Vintage Hotrod Country Outlaw Nashville TN Tennessee 2023 Shirt and I love this line John’s friend says to him i don’t remember exactly, but I think it was something like “don’t listen to your mom you have to see it for yourself.” I guess I’m interested in knowing what it is she tells John about the Mask Collector What Sally said is almost nothing to go on, especially considering she called herself a murderer too for an extremely justifiable kill. Compared to what his father told him and that all of society considers the movie version to be the true version, it’s completely believable John believes that version and I believe what the show was trying to convey. I think one way to interpret it is: Because of his alleged newfound adoration for his father, he’s going to consider joining the military to honor him, thus opening the door for a potential cycle of violence. I think that’s a bit of a stretch, it was not even vaguely hinted at that John wants to be a soldier and if anything being a soldier is slightly castigated in the film (“I don’t want to take orders”)
