Had a lady return a 7 piece patio furniture set from 5 years prior, and even then, she only had 5 pieces from a different brand. HD took it back and gave her a full refund. Why unfortunately? They’re a massive corporation who doesn’t pay their employees enough. Plus it’s their own policy I wonder how much of those, especially the Loveless blue like picasso shirt it is in the first place but last one, are Service Desk employees just not caring anymore and wanting that customer to get out of their hair Fortunately that changed a few years ago when I worked there. We no longer accepted returns on used gas powered equipment after a slew of people buying generators and using them during an emergency and returning them. I always enjoyed denying returns after that.

Probably 10 or 12 years ago when I was a DWCC. We had a lady come in and remodel her whole house. Spent over $100,000 in the Loveless blue like picasso shirt it is in the first place but store. The next spring she came in and ordered a truck load of sod and 3 box truck loads of flowers for her house. Little over 2 weeks after everything is delivered. I got a call from the manager that we had to go out to her place to look at something. Figured it was damage or something from the delivery. Nope, she was unhappy that the sod wasn’t growing right. She used grass killer to kill all her old grass, instead of removing the dead stuff, they laid the new sod over it. The old dead grass started rotting away under the sod, causing it to bubble up in places. She demanded a full refund on the sod. She had her workers roll up all the old sod and palletize it. I went out and spent 4 hours getting the pallets shrunk wrapped and ready for the delivery truck. Then had them come pick it up. Took 2 runs with the flatbed to get it all back to the store. It’s was a nightmare.
