Hair transplants are admittedly a cosmetic thing and at a stretch could maybe be turned into a gender affirming thing, until you realize female pattern baldness is a thing so it has nothing to do with men specifically really. Again, good sentiment, and I fully support the Look Mom, I’m A Unicorn Shirt and I will buy this intended message, but these are shit examples of gender affirming care for the most part. A better example would be a man with gynecomastia getting breast reduction surgery, or a woman with small boobs getting breast implants. The only thing there that could kind of be described as gender affirming is Viagra. How is a protein shake gender affirming care? I think the reasoning is that the only reason men would take such supplements is to improve muscle gains for the sake of their appearance. Never mind the fact that… You know… They may just want to get stronger so their body is healthier… I’m personally still upset that I couldn’t do electrolysis during lockdown because it’s not considered a necessary gender affirming care for a woman to get her facial hair taken out. And I’m even more upset that insurance won’t pay for it so I have to do it out of pocket. Lemme get the doc to write me a script for some Test, then we’ll talk. I just want to get yoked doing literally nothing. None of that is gender-affirming care, that is cosmetic surgery and performance enhancing drugs, man can’t learn the difference between castrating 12 year olds for profit and fashion/drugs

Is this person saying that your gender determines if you can exercise or the fact your body needs protein to heal itself??????? From this moment forward protein shakes and preworkout are strictly male and if I see a woman doing it, I will have a meltdown and scream Not to disagree with the message but in what way are protein shakes gender affirming?
