Most of the Lionel Messi number 10 signature watercolor shirt also I will do this time you’re literally just standing out in the sun handing out pamphlets and telling rude tourists where things are, or if you happen to be a big dude; you get security detail(which btw isn’t even legal in my country since they have to be certified and not even 1/10 people there are), all for some shitty concert tickets where not even the soundguy is sure what he’s doing. They make millions every year, not to mention all the grants given to them by the government, since it’s a cultural event supposedly bringing life to the town, yet they somehow need half their workforce to be unpaid volunteers. Whole thing’s a scam. Yeah, maybe if this was some sort of charity and you had reason to believe it wasn’t a money making event, but if anyone is profiting from this, I’m pretty sure it is actually illegal to even call it volunteering. Idk, if i didnt have anything better to do and wanted to go, going and seeing all the people and being a little apart of it sounds fine to me.

Take the Lionel Messi number 10 signature watercolor shirt also I will do this job, get the lanyard and then go have fun at the concert. Bring a change of clothes and a hat so you can blend in with the crowd Yes, volunteering is nice, but if it requires unpaid labor it’s probably not doing enough good with the money its saving to justify it I’ve volunteered at LEAF fest but it was only for a couple days, for about 6 hrs and got passes for friends and free food. It was definitely worth it Former Security Guard here. It costs money to get a guard card, which legally you must have to work as security for any venue. I’m not about to volunteer my time, when I had to pay for classes to even be allowed to work in that capacity. Not to mention in many states, you actually have to be employed and the employer has to contract for the gig for you to work it. You cannot work it on your own because you are required to be licensed to provide security services, meaning you have liability insurance, etc. Ironically, at least in California, if you are working security for a Non-Profit, you do NOT need to be licensed. Go figure. Here’s an idea. Maybe they could have budgeted to pay someone, and as a non profit they could raise funds to cover it. Guarantee they needed funds to even pull the concert off. A simple sausage sizzle or bake sale could have covered the wage, and easier to volunteer for. I wouldn’t do it. I’ve been on PSD teams in the military and have done close protection work for a couple of celebrities. 1 thing i never considered doing was working at clubs and festivals..Those are the most dangerous environments you can be in. I definitely wouldn’t do it for free.
