But I think a lot of the Lil’ Weapon X Shirt so you should to go to store and get this responses here is basically why not many people go and do this. It’s fine to drill for water, but maintaining it costs money and that’s where the real cost is. I doubt he will continute to support the 100 wells even 2 years from now. I’m curious why you think 100 wells is somehow more then a drop in the bucket of aid that already flows to africa? The answer to OPs question is that there is nothing standing in the way of the ultra rich from making a positive transformation in the world, except for their ethics and desire for profit and power. 665 more repliesI can guarentee you all of the names listed have donated more to chairty than any youtuber has or ever will earn total. Still good on him but to pretend that what he did is unique is asinine.
Lil’ Weapon X Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
I have a hard time even believing MrBeast isn’t just some paid actor. One day he didn’t exist, then the Lil’ Weapon X Shirt so you should to go to store and get this next… all over the place. Maybe he somehow just dodged my radar for so many years, or he’s like the current ShamWoW of YouTube. To be fair to MrBeast there’s about 6 years of nonsense videos on his channel where he was pushing super hard without much return. The counting to insanely high numbers videos and so on. He has videos on his channels from 11 years ago and he only started getting really noticed maybe 5 years ago. His channel definitely exploded the second he started tipping waitresses $1,000 a time. There’s a few things at play there, first and foremost people wealthy at that level don’t have the vast sums of liquid cash most people think they do. These folks’ net worths are calculated based on everything they own. By that scale, my parents would be millionaires because of the equity in their house, but in reality they are just living paycheck to paycheck. Obviously those folks aren’t but I’d put money on Musk not being able to just write me a billion dollar check right now without it bouncing. For people of that level, Jimmy included, assets that aren’t being used to secure liabilities are capital and they can’t continue to gain power and wealth without leveraging that capital. In order to donate 100B in any sort of short term Musk for example might have to sell off his entire equity in Tesla. That 100B makes him money, not his 9-5. Jimmy is doing the exact same thing. His building wells, or curing blindness, or crashing a train into a brick wall is taking his capital and putting it to work, expecting a return on investment. If he wasn’t making money off building wells, he wouldnt be there doing it, I guarantee that. And Musk, Gates, Bezos etc. just simply don’t make money that way. I’m not saying that’s neccessarily right, trust laws are being skirted, and valuation/capital gains taxes are very favorable to people at that caliber, but those rich men for better or worse keep the economy going and their capital in their corporations and other financial institutions helps fuel our economy. If Gates had donated everything but his shares in his own company when he first hit a value of 1b, the lack of capital could have crippled the company, caused him to have to sell, or god knows what else. And then his 1969 total grants, made from 7 billion liquid dollars (including nearly 2 billion to international health) would never have been made. Gates doens’t make money from his donations except for some tax benefits, he has no reason to put them in the public eye.
