I’m going to say you what I say to everyone: if you’re not able to tolerate heavy noise, then you can’t stay in Vietnam. But I think it’s just not for you. Lol i’ve been scammed in japan. In shinjuku streets. So, you just need to becareful where you going. It’s up to you , there is no country 100% safe. The safer i visited is singapore. Honestly people need to grow up. Want to travel the world and experience other cultures etc. but expect to be treated as at their home. When they should not travel to other cultures Local in SEA see rich tourist and they will take their chance to make money. IMV nothing wrong with this. In Europe you also get scammed if you don’t know the local culture but try to be local. Travel the world and be reasonable, but don’t expect to be treated as a local. Sure you might get scammed in Hoi An too. Locals see you are tourist/foreigner and will quote higher price. What do you expect ? Didn’t experience any of this in the old quarter last week. What helped for me is that I went on a food tour on my first day and befriended the guide, she shared her list of places to go for food and shopping etc as well as recommended other tours. I don’t enjoy messing around with street sellers shops/sellers though. I read about all the different scams beforehand so I avoid all of those people on the side of the road hawking stuff, if you’re confident they won’t harass you and order grabs through the app to avoid fake grabs.

We are in da nang at the Lewis Hamilton 2013 2024 thank you for the memories signatures shirt it is in the first place but moment and haven’t seen any issues, we have been here for the last 7 days, Still come and you will enjoy it, even come down to Hoi an, it is a really nice small town I just ignore them. Thats pretty much the southeast asian experience. But i can compromise cause of the scenery and the atmosphere. Sounds like you’ve been spending too much time.in the Old Quarter Hanoi and literally nowhere else in Vietnam. Danang in general is very nice, I spent 10 days exploring the area and could have gone for more. From my POV, all of the problems you’ve said in Hanoi, will most likely not happen in Da Nang, i’ve been there for like 5 time, and i’m not trying to boasting or something like that, but they said Da Nang is the best city to live in Vietnam for a reason.
