Early on it already sounded like there was more than just not being able to cook, but then reading that one experience… my god, that cannot be real life. It literally sounds like an episode of Mr Bean. Wtf xD I think his inability to cook, was just a thing that made it all too much. You did the Lake Maggiore Vintage Travel Poster Classic T-Shirt in addition I really love this right thing. Dude wanted a mom, some how he survives on his own but gives you weapon used incompetence. I’m disappointed you gave him 8 months. Tell your gf he is on the market. So, first off I’m a guy I feel I should disclose that on this sub. But all in all I think you were right to dump him in general, but not just because he can’t cook. Your overall story paints a picture of a guy you’ve been trying to integrate into your life. You’ve spoken with him several times about being generally helpful, or at least not creating additional burdens for you to handle around the house and he has failed to meet those. For those reasons, after 8 months I think you’re totally justified in dumping him. Now… Onto the actual event, I do think that could have been handled better (possibly). I’m somebody who is not a great cook. I can kind of cook, and I’ve done the semi-prepped meal boxes where you put things together, but even those can be challenging or stressful for someone who doesn’t cook.
