I drive in the Kindergarten back to school superhero kids new art classic shirt but in fact I love this left lane pretty commonly but the instant I see the car behind me is getting closer, I find a place to get right for a second until they pass and then go back to it. Its mega uncomfortable for me to be holding someone up in the left lane. Drivers education here teaches kids to drive as if they were the only car on the road. Basically to pay attention to the road and all the rules. It doesn’t teach cooperation with other drivers. It’s every man for themselves. I’ve driven in places like Germany and over there it feels like we’re all working towards the same goal of getting to where we’re going. In contrast, over here it seems to be more like “I’m going where I’m going and I don’t care if anybody else ever gets to where they’re going”… which in the end screws us all over. As a born and raised Los Angelino, I only knew the Left Lane as the Fast Lane. It wasn’t until I left the state that I’d ever heard of the Left Lane being a Passing Lane.

I’ve noticed that people think “anyone driving faster than me is a maniac, and anyone driving slower than me is a moron” I can confirm. My sister is a left-Lane driver and have heard her say that she likes to stay on the left because:

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
