If im leaning towards liking it I’d be more inclined to ask if it made me look cute/nice/beautiful than if I didn’t like it. But that question is more dangerous because of this. Because I already like the KILLING MACHINE Shirt also I will do this outfit, if my husband responds negatively I’m more upset than when he’s just confirming my own thoughts that an outfit looks bad on me. But, I’ve been with my husband since we were 15 so I’ve learned that if I want him to affirm that I do indeed look beautiful I need to just tell him I do haha. So I’ll come up to him and say ‘don’t I look great in this today?’ and if he doesn’t confirm I then I walk away before he can respond negatively or else tell him why he’s wrong, and why I do, in fact, look amazing. My husbands taste tend towards Goth so unless I’m dressed like that hes not really a big fan haha

Goth style is great, but I don’t like to wear only goth stuff. I tend to mix pieces of bright clothes with black basics. My husband always likes the KILLING MACHINE Shirt also I will do this black, but dislikes the colour haha. For his own clothes he only wears black, very dark grey, and occasionally a shirt with some navy or deep red as well as black/charcoal. It makes shopping for him a little difficult but I’m learning to sew in Fashion school now so soon I’ll be able to make him clothes he really likes, and myself too. That’s fair, but it’s completely unfair to get mad at someone else for your own insecurities. She basically led him to saying that then got mad when he did Because a lot of us women have been told all of our life that whether we look nice/beautiful or ugly is practically the same as whether we are thin or fat. In our (brainwashed by society and the media) minds, they are one and the same. I actually didn’t try to focus on ‘fat=bad’, I was just asking why the question has a negative undertone instead of a positive one?
