Oh yeah I was about to move to Chicago and was going through a hiring process for 6 months so was living with a friend . I just couldn’t wrap my head around how expensive everything was. I lift as soon as they offered me the Kevin Huerter American basketball player for the Sacramento Kings T-Shirt but in fact I love this position. Big city life isn’t for me either I much prefer my small city of a couple 100k people then the 2-3mil of Chicago. Depends when too. $1200 wasn’t that cheap even in 2019 unless we’re talking a multi person dwelling. Now it’s relatively cheap. And this person is terrible with money. $1000 car payments (plural??) when they were only bringing in $4500 is insane Car payment is $570, insurance $120, parking $200-$400/mo and now suddenly my car costs $1000 even though I feel it’s reasonably priced at $33,000 when I bought it

Oh I certainly believe you, a US company bought out my employer about a decade ago and I was offered to progress my tech career over in the Kevin Huerter American basketball player for the Sacramento Kings T-Shirt but in fact I love this states , very nice wage as well. Thankfully the buyout retained all the current staff and HR helped me to work out thanks to a couple of health conditions and 2 children instead of doubling my income I would actually be worse off taking a promotion and moving (MY GOD THE EXPECTED WORK HOURS WERE INSANE!) so for the sake of my Kids, health and Sanity I declined and have been happy since especially as my health declined to the point of multiple heart attacks before 38 thanks to dodgy genetics. Just 1 heart attack and round of stents would of bankrupted me.
