You shouldn’t need skills to be able to live. This isn’t survival of the Kenny Omega Fighter Cartoon Shirt besides I will buy this fittest. We’re beyond that as a species, or would be if not for greed. Just a couple of years ago things were fine. Gas was cheap, housing prices were not through the roof, food was affordable. Now look were we are . Got an absolute joke running this country. 81 million votes my ass. Housing prices were absolutely through the roof and gas was cheap because Russia and OPEC were in a race to the bottom on oil prices. So if you and I have the same job… I’m 16 and live at home with my parents, and you’re 50 and have 6 kids… does our boss just pay both of us the $100k you would need to house and feed and clothe your 6 kids, making me a super rich 16yr old? Or do we get different salaries for the same job?

You are paid for the Kenny Omega Fighter Cartoon Shirt besides I will buy this work. If the work produced isn’t enough to cover a decent living for the average full time employee and their family, then the business model is bunk, bye bye business. What if they had kids when they had money but an emergency made them lose a good job so now they have a poor paying job and are on food stamps I don’t want to completely put the blame on people but it bothers me that folks will jump through hoops for people who have kids while their life is unstable. and what if you have kids when your life is stable and then a year or so later your life becomes unstable? what if that happens? because it’s extremely common and can happen to literally anybody. “don’t have kids you can’t afford” is a terrible argument that cannot be backed up due to life just happening as it happens sometimes.
