The best independent media orgs in the Just a girl who likes ta climb retro mountain T-Shirt in addition I really love this world receive government funding. The big key is that the government funding comes without strings attached and the government gets no say in the reporting. The main issue is that some countries have independent media that’s funded by taxes, and then we have countries where they have media that’s both state funded and state run, typically in service to a dictator. The BBC is funded in part by taxes, but i wouldn’t really call it state run. State-financed media organizations with editorial independence, like the BBC in the UK for example, are not defined as state-affiliated media for the purposes of this policy. That’s like saying my local improv theater is state funded because they got a grant from a non-profit that received money from the Federal government.

Is it not state affiliated? I have a twiter. I follow the Just a girl who likes ta climb retro mountain T-Shirt in addition I really love this Carolina Huricanes and that’s it? I don’t understand why being state affiliated matters? NPR is one of my favorite news stations because it’s American based and usually has both parties represented in segments. The BBC is closer to being “state-affiliated”, but their accounts don’t have this qualifier. This is Elon being a douche about how true government mouthpieces like RT and various Chinese outlets have been identified on Twitter and trying to claim NPR is similarly suspect. It’s really not. Thank you for the explanation I don’t really have Twitter other than to follow the Carolina Huricanes because their PR department is hilarious.
