Code Sam is when you have to reach out to customers. Let them know that you exist to help them. That even though your arms are full of stuff that you can absolutely unlock that cage once they make their decision. I never say “you finding everything okay” cause damn I don’t want to hear “No! You keep moving everything on us!” Like it’s my fault. :/ I wish. I was told by another coworker to ignore. So I ignore. But if you ever do hear “attention all walmart employees, this is your code Sam reminder”, that’s what it is. I’m kinda done with it. Just put me on the truck and leave me alone Because I stopped them from shoplifting. Not sure what kind of support they were looking for when getting mad and screaming but they sure weren’t going to get it there. I mean, yeah, call corporate because you’re mad you were trying to steal shit and got stopped, by all means see how that goes. I’m sure any OGP friends will understand customers trying to get their orders from inside. At least at my store you can’t dispense to customers inside. Only in the parking spaces. When you tell these people we’re not allowed to dispense to them indoors they get so heated. Like if ur coming into the store anyway why even make an order? When I first started at Walmart I was in OGP and it was right after COVID hit and the personal shopping thing got huge. I often got stuck in the back room organizing orders, taking care of exceptions, double checking expiration dates and best of all… Answering the phone. I couldn’t count how many times customers would call to say they’re outside waiting, give no info, then hang up. Id send someone out to see who they were so we could grab their order. 80% of the time it was someone who came way too early, or someone who hasn’t picked their stuff up the day before and decided they were ready now. And of course, if we didn’t have their order ready to go right at that moment they’d pitch a hissy fit. Like, dude, c’mon… We maxed at 17 orders an hour bc we were a small market, but you still can’t expect us to just have every order ready several hours in advance just in case you come at a very different time than you told us you would. And we didn’t have even close to enough room to keep all of the previous days leftover orders.

I’m literally partially deaf and a customer got mad because I didn’t hear him call for me while I walked by an asile. While yelling he pointed at his ears and said can you not hear?! I said no I really can’t. She was putting political stickers on all the Juice Wrld Shirt Furthermore, I will do this meat and I started removing them. She walked up and punched me. Ultimate Karen Prolly not we got a lady in my store nicely named crazy firstname who to this day and has for a couple year comes in yells at brown n black associates and tells them she’ll shoot them in the parking lot if they stand up for themselves I didn’t even work photos but was trying to learn because I was in electronics when a lady came up after they were closed and had gone home. She asked about her photos being printed and said she chose the 24 hour option or some shit. I checked the order and it was gonna be done the next day. She said “oh ok, that’s fine!” And walked away. I thought we were cool.
