Every Gun with a cylinder. Support Machineguns, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, Sub Machineguns, Rocketlaunchers, revolvers. This game had was bonkers. I pre-ordered and played through the Joyeux Noel Vintage Christmas Red Pine Trees Shirt and I will buy this first border lands and though it was fun, it was too easy and the ending sucked. Maybe I went back and played BL1 way too late because I did it after playing 2 and just before 3 released, but I thought BL1 was atrociously bad. I thought the game was just not fun and the story was a huge miss. BL2 is such a massive improvement in every single way it’s impressive. Even then I think we can agree on something and it’s that I think the series has trapped itself on having to rely on humor and not removing it outright but toning it down would be a good idea. 2 hit the sweet spot for me. Handsome Jack was great, and the fight against Bloodwing was genuinely emotional if you played BL1. I felt like the vault had more of a point than in BL1. While the jokes were sometimes too crude and too meta, I don’t feel like they over stayed their welcome. I also liked the greater emphasis on the plot and characters, and how they weaved the first game so well into BL2. It genuinely felt like an escalation of the games.

Honestly 2 is great. Sometimes the Joyeux Noel Vintage Christmas Red Pine Trees Shirt and I will buy this humor can be a little upfront and tries to hard. But overall most of it was good and it had a story. But 1 is still my favoriteReminds me of the first time I took my wife into a museum of natural history. She looked at the bones and told me she didn’t know dinosaurs had existed for real. In her defense she had other things to worry about as a child than robots and dinosaurs (namely Iraq attacking her country and a bunch of religious freaks that just started running it). My mom was a college educated woman. She refused to accept it when I told her the sun was a star. Like, completely shut me down, “No, you’ve got that wrong, they’re different things.” I worked at NASA and I was still never able to convince her!
