An artist I’d gotten a tattoo from once before rescheduled my appointment twice – once on the Jonathan Huberdeau Let’s Go Home Canadian professional ice hockey winger T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this day of because he didn’t have enough time for the design I wanted (like what??? I gave him the design weeks before) and the second time a few days out because he’d realised my appointment was in the school holidays and he needed to stay home with his kid (again, not like school holidays are a surprise?). In between he once messaged me asking if I was coming to my appointment that weekend, when I’d never booked that date. All of that was 110% enough reason not to go back. Luckily he’d never asked me for a deposit. Useless. You tell her “Absolutely not. I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable. I will need you to give me back my deposit before you leave. I will not be rescheduling.”

That’s extremely unprofessional of her. Is she intending on tattooing you once she’s back? Did you communicate that you took time off work and that this is an inconvenience to you? Guy who tattooed our wedding anniversary on our forearms did a terrible job on mine (wildly uneven character heights, different sized repeating characters). He said he needed it to heal for a month before it could touch up, so I made an appointment that same day to come back in a month. Came in for the appointment and he had fucking moved out of state.
