Lol, yeah, that’s totally something big corporations would do: work together and give up their earnings so they can teach a competitor’s customers a lesson. They should. Stories like this are toxic and prevent people from using their sites. How many here are now insisting on hotels for premium booking times? This is toxic. Yes this would be the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure the weeknd starboy shirt Apart from…,I will love this exact same weekend I’m going to Montreal. It sucks because everything in the city becomes so expensive To be honest, it’s one of the funnest times to be in the city. Accommodations get pricey, but it is worth it. Sorry your host screwed you over. Check out some spots on west island and Laval. Cheaper accommodations and, if you pick a spot close to the commuter train, super easy to get into town.

OP, so sorry this happened. Airbnb needs to address this issue internally. BDC handles this by mostly catering to multi unit hotels and charging the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure the weeknd starboy shirt Apart from…,I will love this host a rehoming fee equal to making the guest whole. Few vacation rental hosts list on BDC though. A solution for both hosts and guests would be an internal insurance coverage that pays out to fully compensate the guest. A full refund plus rehoming should be seamless. Airbnb is years late on addressing this issue, better late than never though. Like workman’s comp or car insurance, the coverage could be cheap for hosts that don’t use the insurance and crazy expensive for bad actors that cancel more than once in a few years. I think the reason for cancellation should be taken into consideration, but that shouldn’t be the guests business or problem at all. Call and get someone else. I’ve had this happen and they have put me up in something almost double the price as I made it clear I had nowhere else to go , and my budget wouldn’t allow it. You can back down. Make them feel bad. Keep calling you’ll finally get someone who has empathy. Don’t agree to anything unless it’s satisfactory to you.
