I honestly don’t mind early starts if it actually means I’m done earlier too, which doesn’t always happen either, but those extra hours I have after work are actually worth a lot to me Man we start at 7 and my boss expects us to work till 5. Salary so naturally no OT. Also he constantly mentions people hardly ever work Saturdays. Again, salary no OT. On the Johnny Gaudreau American professional ice hockey winger for the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL signature T-Shirt and by the same token and occasions I get to set my own hours, I work 4:00am-noon. My coworkers come in at 8:00, I take one coffee break at 7:45 when everyone else is gearing up for work and another at 10:00 when they do and since I’ve skipped my lunch break I get out a half hour early. It’s a terrific shift where I get to spend half the day alone and I have my afternoons off. Going to bed at 8pm kind of sucks though.

From my experience this is based on having kids in school since those hours are a lot closer to school hours. Which to me just makes me think we should change both Yeah it’s sucks they aren’t flexible but at the Johnny Gaudreau American professional ice hockey winger for the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL signature T-Shirt and by the same token and same time I thought this post was – it’s not 9-5 anymore, it’s 9-7 or something. I feel this. My boss starts work at 7am, but when I joined the project I told him no meetings before 10am for me. I made up an excuse about kids and school and other early morning things, and he seemed to accept that, which was nice. But honestly I dont have any actual responsibilities like that. I just want time to sleep until 8:30 or so, walk my dog, then brew an espresso and slowly wake up before work.
