I’m 34 and have no intention of having kids. Here’s the Joe Ryan Minnesota fade baseball shirt In addition,I will do this kicker: I’m super patient and good with them, I just don’t desire to be a parent. My reasons are the same as OP. I want to have my own autonomy without the added pressure of buckling down for my kids nor do I believe that the modern economy is in any way supportive to working class families. I have kids and I love them. It’s hard, though, so I am all for people not having kids if they don’t feel the desire to. Depends on the person. I was very opposed to kids until my late 20s and decided to have one at 30, I love it and have no regrets, but I can see how someone would be happy without them. It’s very much a personal choice and don’t let anyone tell you there is a right and wrong answer, only you know how you feel.

Some women have kids at 40. And if you don’t have kids, that’s okay too. Mostly, a woman’s role is not solely to reproduce. You are not a failure if you don’t. Beyond that, most people that have kids ‘cuz they should are horrible parents and make horrible new humans. One option is to find a way to diverge that urge to programs that support unwanted or at-risk kids via volunteering. Also, volunteering with kids can help you realize if you want your own or not…
