So when I went in for my last meeting, the Joe Mauer Caricature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same day I decided to never go back, and they lied to me, I started shaking and I felt weak and I felt like crap. I let them influence me and I believed their lies and misinformation and fell for many of their emotional traps. Then at the end they told me if I could work harder I’d get my hours fixed and we could all move on. So I told them what they wanted to hear. They also claimed I had a huge lack of communication even though I talked to my manager twice about two different situations (relating to the days I could work on + new problems regarding the whole “3 hours” situation they purposely took forever to address). They also didn’t bother telling me why I had those issues with my hours or to fix that I was scheduled for only days I couldn’t work on, until I asked them.

So all in all, try not to show weakness to your boss in general, and if you do, be prepared to have solid reasons to back that up and to back up why you can still work well. And be sure to have good communication at all times with your boss. Don’t let them manipulate you and if they do, call them on their bullshit and tell them that’s not the truth or it’s not the whole truth of that they’re making a mountain out of a molehill and it’s not a proper excuse. Also know your rights.
