I probably could have gotten some money selling them, but to me it wasn’t worth the time and effort it would’ve taken. I’d rather just let them go to a good cause.I love the look I see on photos ChicWish advertises of their high waisted midi/maxi pleated skirts and crop tops. I’ve been hesitant on ordering though because I’m sure it’s fast fashion quality. What good quality brands have this style that I can easily shop online? Is there somewhere I can discover types of dress/clothing styles or clothing cuts? I found this one dress that looked nice on me that was some type of halter top (I don’t know what the neckline is called)but I didn’t like the fabric, so I’m looking for something similar. I don’t have the fashion vocabulary to describe this dress and it would be a party dress for a big event. Any recommendations are helpful.

The best I can offer for that one is ‘ruched halter neck dress’. Sweetheart halter dress/top would be a good keyword to search. You can just google that and search the shopping tab Recently came across some old Isabel Marant outfits on insta and found them really beautiful. Marant is super out of my budget (even on sale and thift shop/vinted). What other brands does similar cuts and pieces? Budget fashion chains like Zara and H&M frequently do KOs, though obviously they don’t advertise them as such so they can be hard to pin down. Isabel Marant is one of the few designers whose clothes don’t date a lot because she basically does variations on the same theme every year. So I think if you do need to spend more than usual to buy a piece, you could call it value for money because you will get more wear out of it than a cheaper one. Apologies for enabling, but I do think it’s worth buying the real thing if you can. No I completely agree with you. Thats why I have had a nosey in vinted and will keep checking there. You are right, trying to buy the dupe is not worth it and I will rather save the money and buy one piece per year. Are Everlane’s linen shirts worth the ~$90 price tag? I don’t know if they ever do sales there, but I’m a bit skeptical of paying that much I’m not sure if I’ve seen sales but they have a first time purchase discount and I’ve gotten coupons emailed to me. if buying online be aware that they charge for shipping returns
