Parents aren’t educated on what a proper portion size is. They think growing child and give a portion that they would eat. There needs to be more education on actual calorie needs, how many calories foods contain, and what a serving size actually looks like. I hated this as a kid too. I would be told off for “never finishing anything” even though they clearly gave me too much. Also the Jessica Andrade Bate Estaca Brazilian professional mixed martial artist T-Shirt besides I will buy this whole “there are kids starving in Africa” is not only racially ignorant it’s not as if I can mail these mashed potatoes, and you as the parent made and served too much food so how is it my fault? some kids wont eat, my nieces spent like the first 8 years of their life taking 1 bite out of anything that wasnt candy or milk. my nephews tho, they won’t stop eating lol.

My mom used to load my plate up as if I was a starving grown man and made me sit at the Jessica Andrade Bate Estaca Brazilian professional mixed martial artist T-Shirt besides I will buy this table and finish every bite. I remember many nights spent at the table full of tears because I wasn’t hungry anymore. She said it’s because she was poor and was hungry a lot as a kid but even knowing that it could lead to issues with food she hasn’t changed at all and it’s only one of the many reasons I’ve never had her babysit my kids. As a parent now, I tell my kids to eat until they’re done and if they don’t want it, they can have a sandwich as long as they at least tried a bite of whatever it was. I don’t fight with them about food and they’re really good about trying new things because they know they don’t have to eat it if they decide they don’t like it.
