American public education has been in decline since the 1980s. It’s highly politicized and biased leftward. When I was in school, we had Math, History, Geography, Science, English, Reading and Writing and Art. In junior high you had to take Latin to prepare you for foreign languages in high school. In high school you had to take Math/Algebra/ Geometry/Calculus and Trigonometry, then History, Science, English, Composition, Biology and Chemistry. Electives were Art or Music. School started at 7:30am and ended at 3:00pm. It’s nothing like that now. Today’s generation bitch about boomers but we’ve had it so good because we were better educated which made us more competitive in the job market. We didn’t have social justice, CRT, safe spaces, or pronouns, or hate America or any of that cool stuff.
