I cuddle a blanket. My partner actually requested this – I radiate a lot of heat when asleep and would try to cuddle with him all night. Now he turns away when he gets too hot, I cuddle my blanket, we’re both happy. Also, if I get cold, I don’t have to get up to fetch another blanket That was probably me. I’m down to cuddle for a little bit but a pillow doesn’t turn me into a wet sack of sweat. I don’t want to wake up sticking to another sack of flesh. It’s nothing against you, we just wanna be comfortable. My wife understands this and our sleeping arrangement is generally butt to butt. I have actually thought about getting a weighted blanket, I actually really think it would help me sleep. But I live in Auatralia and I think I will just get way too hot. Are they hot to sleep in? I really wondered the same thing because I tend to sleep on the warm side. I moved to a more moderate climate some years ago from a higher temperature area but I didn’t get a weighted blanket until about a year ago and from my experience I haven’t noticed much of a difference. I started out using the recommended 10% of my body weight which was 15# and at first it felt like quite a bit of weight. After a week or so it wasn’t as heavy feeling and I definitely noticed an improvement in my comfort and sleep. It wasn’t a drastic change as I already sleep fairly well even though I sleep very little naturally, very much less than the average person which I’ve had checked out by doctors and had sleep studies all pointing to I just don’t require a lot of sleep. I wanted to find other ways to maximize my sleep because even though I feel rested it just seems like I should have more or at least a better quality when I do
