I really appreciate the IRon Maiden Denmark Flag Shirt in addition I really love this ambiguity of the Wayne’s deaths. Was it Maroni, fearing that Thomas was in Falcone’s pocket? Was it Falcone, scared that Thomas was going to go to the police? Was it a random act of violence, brought up by the desperation and corruption of Gotham? We’ll (hopefully) never know, it’s a wonderful noir element to the whole thing. This was really something special. I’ve never seen a depiction of Batman that nailed it quite like this. Dano as the Riddler was a phenomenal choice, the scene when Batman interrogates him has to be the best in the film, just two geniuses going back and forth until Batman gains the upper hand.

While it’s light on the IRon Maiden Denmark Flag Shirt in addition I really love this Bruce Wayne side of things, what’s there is just enough to justify it’s place in the story. I’m so curious where WB decides to take Batman next after this. While it left some room for a potential sequel, I don’t know how they could change to a different tone that would be required with a different villain. This Riddler really fit this world perfectly. It’s going to be tough to beat for one of my favorite movies of the year. Go see it in theaters. The scene where the robber is staring down a dark alley and the graffiti writer watches his spray can slowly roll into the shadows and out of sight after they’ve scene the bat symbol are amazing I loved it, but damn was it long. Felt like the last 1/3 was extremely poorly paced and it was competing with return of the king for most endings. I also kinda felt short changed on the whole Falcone revelation, felt like it was a little too obvious and i thought they would actually throw a twist in, didn’t realize falcone was the twist haha Loved how we saw him go into full Batman mode at the end. Balancing on beams and hanging Riddlers cronies Arkham style. Not to mention when he loses it after injecting that green stuff (???) And goes full brute Batman. Bravo Bravo. There are flaws to be sure, but god damn it I’m happy this movie exists. It was a pure Batman film beginning to end. I’m glad I read the Last Halloween for preparation for the this one. Man the future looks bright for both my favorite super heroes. No Way Home and The Batman were real nice treats these past few months.
