BA YouTuber I followed ended up leaving because her phone got snatched out of her hand in broad daylight. Definitely happens If we’re thinking of the Iowa Hawkeyes Team Players 2024 Signatures Shirt and I love this same YouTuber, it was while she was at a restaurant in La Boca – which is definitely a very sketchy part of the city Yes that’s her. Locals avoid that area entirely. Tourists go anyway to snap pics on the one colorful street. It’s a bad area. Judging Buenos Aires based on La Boca is crazy. Not an overreaction at all, I’m Argentinian and bring a burner phone every time I visit, same as another friend who now lives in France. I’d not say “only order ubers from inside a building”, but I definitely go inside a store or to the entrance alley of a building if I’m going to be staring into a screen.

Iowa Hawkeyes Team Players 2024 Signatures Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

My girlfriend had hers pickpocketed 4 years ago, and on this last visit she and her dad got robbed at gunpoint and they took her dad’s phone, granted that was outside Buenos Aires. Between 2004 and 2011 when I used to travel to BsAs a lot, and even lived there for a year, not showing phone or money in public was top of the Iowa Hawkeyes Team Players 2024 Signatures Shirt and I love this safety advice list. You showed anything, you eventually got robbed. Happened to me, and to two friends on separate occasions. I didn’t feel unsafe being out in the city, not even late at night (of course I kept away from the bad areas) but even in broad daylight, it was “you show it, you lose it”. Another time I was driving just outside the limits of the city (had just passed General Paz I think), after midnight, quiet streets, and I stopped at a red light, only to hear my then-girlfriend and her friend scream in my ear “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? DONT STOP!!! GO GO GO!!! WE’LL GET KILLED!!”…
