I got a CT scan in another hospital in 2 months and it turned out I had a brain tumor the size of an egg. not sure if this counts as dumb or just aggravating. when i switched to a different dr she wanted to have a blood test done so she could have something up to date for records. a few days afterwards she called me to ask how much i drink (alcohol wise) because she claimed my liver is producing more enzymes than it should be. i mentioned at most 2 glasses of wine at least once a year (religious reasons), so she decided if it wasn’t that it must be my ADHD meds and i should stop taking them immediately. now this was in the middle of an already really stressful college semester so that was just another reason why thats not happening.

In my state you also prescribe narcan to go with that. So going over that drug history a nurse goes “and are you still taking naloxone nasal spray daily?” I just sat and blinked at her lol. Got told I had scabies after she looked at my rash (wasn’t even close to a scabies rash) and prescribed me a cream. It was actually just my new shampoo that was giving me this rash.
