Now that I’m on a PIP there are expectations that I learn how to do what they’re asking or I’m being terminated. Onboarding and training wasn’t consistent with what is being asked of me. I’ve been happy to pivot and keep learning and growing but at this point it seems like they’d rather get rid of me than spend the I’m A Seminoles On Saturdays And A Eagles On Sundays Helmet 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this time to train me and communicate about their expectations. Don’t quit. Unemployment is paid by the government. Your company pays an unemployment insurance fee which covers your unemployment if you get terminated. You will NOT get this if you quit. If you do get fired you can just say it was part of a restructuring. Start applying immediately. Even if you pass there little bullshit PIP it’ll never be a good environment. Depending on the I’m A Seminoles On Saturdays And A Eagles On Sundays Helmet 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this circumstances one option may be a without prejudice conversation where they pay you to go away and agree to give you a positive reference. I work in an extremely small, extremely tight knit industry. And even there, getting fired rarely would “hurt” your future chances at a job unless you were a complete psycho or massively unsafe. I think the whole being fired “hurts your future prospects” is massively over stated nowadays. Most employers barely check references or past work history. And if they do it’s super basic info. A lot of companies are terrified of being sued if they cause someone to get rejected from a job. Ride that wave till they let you go, then collect unemployed. Your unemployment shouldn’t be denied merely for underperformance. It’s got to be gross negligence or insubordination, something major usually.
