It really is. :/ I understand some of it, like having to make sure they’re a good family and whatnot, but goddamn it’s expensive to adopt. Oh my goodness, I hate that argument. Really, the I’m A Arizona State On Saturdays And A Cardinals On Sundays Helmet 2023 Shirt so you should to go to store and get this logic there is that I may change my mind and want children someday, even though I definitely do not right now, and so I should just go ahead and get pregnant, just in case? Also that “biological clock” deadline is really just menopause, It is VERY possible for women in their 50s to have healthy pregnancies (not common and generally not advised but if you’re deadset on it you can make it work). That’s double OPs entire life to still consider this if she wants. I would say that the biggest argument against having children that late is your kid having parents who are reasonably likely to both be gone before their 30th birthday. Also to have potentially been in need of care themselves for a chunk of the intervening time. That’s not to say you can’t be healthy and active beyond your fifties, but plenty of people aren’t.

So, I helped with my brothers when I was younger, and my nieces and nephews. I’ve said since I was…ten (about to be 35 now and I’m male) that I just never had an interest in having my own. But I agree that, should anyone decide to change their minds on that *shrugs* that’s life Very true, although kinda too late to go back on having a kid after youve had a kid.. and to decide to have a kid after menopause.. but both those situations are quite far off for OP. has lots of time to decide. Yes exactly. I feel like when people say this, those that say they don’t want kids get offended. Like WHA? Change my mind? NEVER! Like.. chill. It does happen and it’s OK that it happens. I’m definitely not the I’m A Arizona State On Saturdays And A Cardinals On Sundays Helmet 2023 Shirt so you should to go to store and get this same person I was when I was in my 20s.
