That’s bc our choice is never respected in the I’m A Alabama On Saturdays And A Packers On Sundays Helmet 2023 Shirt Besides,I will do this first place and, on a societal level, “you’ll change your mind” is just telling us we are stupid, don’t know what we want, or anyone else knows better. It’s also used to deny our bodily autonomy. People who say it as definitely you’ll change your mind are being assholes, but saying what the person I replied to said is nothing to get worked up over. The difference between saying it in general, people change their minds, vs a specific person matters. The context matters and it’s always a shitty thing to actually say to an individual person when they express they don’t want kids outside of very specific situations. No one tells people that want kids they will change their minds, and if they do, they are immediately an asshole. Why is the reverse bot true?

It’s also really weird that’s it’s seen as acceptable to ask people about their reproductive choices. That’s such private information, there’s no reason to ask someone about it. Not even us WITH kids judge people who don’t want them. On the I’m A Alabama On Saturdays And A Packers On Sundays Helmet 2023 Shirt Besides,I will do this contrary, we respect it. As a parent, I have met so many other parents who just weren’t “into it” but had kids because they were made to believe it was the next logical step. No one should live their life on autopilot like that. Everyone should make conscientious decisions. This is a conscientious decision. It could change, but it’s ok if it never does. Both of my kids told me they don’t want kids and I fully support that. The best route to go is whatever route you want! I find kids dreadful in every way, and never wanted them myself. The best decision I ever made this year was getting my vasectomy finally done! Now I don’t have people hounding me about it, because I just bluntly told everyone it won’t happen! I think a lot of people are in the childfree mindset, and it’s more acceptable now, not that it should matter what anyone else thinks.
