But those discounted bedroom costs are only after paying the I Wish Life Was As Simple As Calculus Math T-Shirt But I will love this original $15k, so is it really a discount? Especially considering what $15k in an investment fund would be worth after 20 years? $15k into AMZN exactly 20 years ago would be worth just over $1m today. If you got into Amazon a few years earlier say in 1998 around their first split then you’d be sitting on low 9-figures. Wow. That seems like a no brained for only 15k… $50 a month maintenance fee seems incredibly cheap too. Do you feel like being nickeled and dimed? Dang, a lot of hate here for Dave Ramsey. I’m not an expert, but the man has helped a lot of people by giving them structure. A lot of folks do not know how to handle money or finances. This man and his team gives people guidelines for getting out of debt. He is harsh because to break the cycle, it takes a complete lifestyle change. It’s optional. No one has to listen to him, but he is trying to help people.

He’s not a finacial advisor with a fiduciary duty to his listeners, they didn’t have a contract with him for financial advice. They followed the I Wish Life Was As Simple As Calculus Math T-Shirt But I will love this “advice” of a guy on the radio because they don’t recognize an ad when they hear it. They should be suing the company, not the guy reading their script. There’s no winning a lawsuit for taking bad advice, whether or not you realized it was an ad, whether or not it was an ad. Dave Ramsay’s show is literally about giving financial advice. For better or worse, some of the people who listen to him believe that what he espouses and endorses can be trusted. It’s not the same as some random gaming YouTuber getting a sponsorship from Established Titles. This is a guy who has developed a following for giving financial advice on his show, as purported expert. Someone who positions themselves to be a financial expert shilling for a company that is literally a scam, ethically speaking isn’t off the hook. He should have known better and researched who he was promoting. The fact that he made millions from this company to promote this scam, while some of his listeners (who trust him) lost tens of thousands each, put him ethically liable. Legally speaking, however, that will be up to the courts to decide. His entire show is him trying to get you to sign up for his ‘Financial Peace University’ based on his great advice.
