Im glad this 4H bullshit has never spread to the I study triggernometry gun shirt besides I will buy this UK, its sounds borderline psychopathic, and this story just reinforces that. This doesn’t make any sense. Lots of farmers and ranchers can have show animals/cattle they more or less treat like a giant pet and take to competition. I was in 4H as a kid. A lot of the parents in leadership were weird AF and took everything WAY too seriously. Totally the crowd that gets aggressively hard over following the rules without exception. Actually, now that I think about it, several of these people were either cops or spouses of cops so I guess that tracks! weird AF and took everything WAY too seriously. Totally the crowd that gets aggressively hard over following the rules without exception

There’s a county fair I go to that has signs all over the I study triggernometry gun shirt besides I will buy this animal tents that say something along the lines of “Remember that this a county fair, not the national circuit and these are children” so sounds about right lol There’s also a huge amount of small town drama, pettiness, and pent up hatred for kids of people they feuded with when they were younger or their parents feuded with. If you read the article, you’d know that it wasn’t 4-H that did this, though, it was the fair officials that did it, namely Melanie Silva, B.J. Macfarlane, and the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. 4-H only gets the kid to the point of the show, and then is hands-off after that. They played no part in what came after for Cedar. I went to their website and read the meeting notes. They started a CEO evaluation in February (Silva wasn’t present), and in March there was a private session regarding the CEO. It’s all private, but I have a hunch this event might have highlighted it’s time for someone else to take over the job and this process has started.
