I’m not assuming dude, are you guys not reading these comments? There are A LOT of people in here saying they don’t want to be themselves in RL so why would they play themselves in a game. I don’t need to self insert myself in games or any media to garner some type of fulfillment. That’s kinda crazy. Do you feel like killing something in a game is the I Never Dreamed Crazy Grandma with the cutest grandkids shirt in addition I really love this same as killing something IRL? I assume not. So why is character gender any different? Yeah. If I have to spend tens or hundreds of hours in my life staring at the back of someone else, I’d like for it to be a woman. Ya, a friend does it always. When I noticed, he asked if I’d rather the camera follow Laura croft or some dude. Same. It’s why alot of MMOs make lots of money selling cosmetics for female toons. Guys like looking at women in different outfits. Its not like men are RPing as women in these games or anything … *cough* Same. I imagine myself spending time with said female character, like I am her best friend. Because I would prefer, if I spend a long time with someone, it oughta be with a woman. Yup. If im gonna be watching someone run from behind for the next 100hours, might as well be a plump female booty.

I seem to remember reading about a study, where researchers were trying to figure it out. They started with this idea that video games had revealed this massive desire for transgender expression in young men. They wanted to figure out if this was true. I’m not a badass assassin in real life either. That’s why I play video games. To role play as something that I’m not in real life.
