Place was toxic as shit and expected me to put it before my I May Live In Ohio But I’m A Dallas Cowboys Fan Forever 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this family. I declined a farewell lunch for similar reasons at a similar tenure length. It wasn’t a big deal like some other comments are making it to be. I would go and be gracious about the I May Live In Ohio But I’m A Dallas Cowboys Fan Forever 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this people not there. Your old boss will notice & appreciate the gesture. It never hurts to keep your work friends. You never know when one of them may be the hiring manager at your next job. Is the food free? Then I hope no one shows up so I get a nice free lunch with my boss. If there is cake, then there is no reason I am not there. Why not have the farewell lunch. You’ll get to hear good things about you from people who want to be there to support you. Up to you. Personally I am only up for a “farewell party,” is when someone is retiring after 20+ years on the job. Are the the tears really welling up when you announced that you were leaving? But on the other hand, might be OK to not burn any bridges. Will this event be during business hours? Maybe go and enjoy the free food.
