Pretty sure I use the I Like My Books Spicy And My Coffee Icy Bookish shirt and I will buy this same Lidl, and I love it but it doesn’t quite tick all the boxes for me and I end up having to go somewhere else for things they don’t have. Still slashed my grocery bills though since I can get at least a lot of what I need there. It is true, therr are some things you can’t at Lidl but it is an excellent option to counter Stop and Shop and Shoprite high prices. The only reason I go to Stop & Shop is because nobody goes there. The ShopRite down the road will be mobbed but Stop & Shop is empty so it’s a pleasant shopping experience even though the selection is lacking and prices aren’t great. Yep, Stop & Shop came in pretty handy in March 2020. Picked up some canned stuff and held my nose when I walked through the door that always stinks of sewage.

interesting, i think it really depends on location. There are nice Stop & Shops around. Just like there are trash old looking ShopRite’s. This is not my experience. The Stop & Shops I frequent (Lyndhurst, Clifton, Bloomfield) always seem to be fully stocked, cleaned and organized. Especially in Lyndhurst, they even make sure the I Like My Books Spicy And My Coffee Icy Bookish shirt and I will buy this cans and jars on the shelves are always facing the same direction. Hah. The Clifton Stop & Shop was my closest supermarket for years. They recently remodeled the inside like 2 years ago right? It’s a small store though. And during COVID forget it. They were always out of everything. I started shopping at the Shoprite in Nutley. Another sort of dumpy store but they seemed to have way more stuff in stock than Stop & Shop in Clifton.
