The first 18 months or so of COVID the Earth Day Sea Turtle Save The Planet shirt moreover I love this stocking difference between Stop & Shop in Clifton and Shoprite in Nutley was crazy. Half the stuff on my list would be out of stock at Stop & Shop and then I would go to Shoprite in Nutley and they would have everything. The Stop & Shop near me, in Carlstadt, is clean and neat and well-stocked. It’s also more expensive than the ShopRite. The Stop & Shop also usually has about four total people working in the whole store, while ShopRite employs a small army. I drive past the Stop & Shop to go to the ShopRite for groceries. I only go there if I need to pick up one or two things. The biggest Stop & Shop mystery to me is the live lobsters. In all my years of going there, I have never once seen anyone buying lobsters. I’ve never even seen anyone behind the counter who could be asked to retrieve a lobster. I like the one near me in Clark, although the fact that every Shoprite in driving distance is a clusterfuck certainly helps.

Acme prices seem to have gotten better lately and are often comparable to Shop Rite. They also carry a lot of brands I like that Shop Rite doesn’t. This week Acme had chicken breast on sale and they were completely sold out at the Earth Day Sea Turtle Save The Planet shirt moreover I love this Montclair store. That’s the problem with being a smaller store. I’m glad I didn’t need to go looking for this comment. Acme, by far, has been my number one shit market. When I was a kid, the closest supermarket was the neighborhood Acme, and even as a kid I always felt dirty once I got home. Now as an adult, I’m going to the same Acme and wondering if the prices were always so much higher than any other supermarket in the nearby areas. The stop and shop in Tom’s river is going through a huge and necessary remodeling. I do agree with the outrageous prices and limited selection. And to what someone else said, ShopRite I’d always mobbed and I personally can’t handle shopping in huge crowds like that. So what I’ve been doing is curbside pick up orders at ShopRite for the bulk of my groceries. Produce I need I’ll go to stop and shop for, because as far as produce goes prices are fine and it’s always stocked. Then I go to a local mom and pop shop for vegan/gluten free stuff I need.
