I think there are some ok (if extremely overblown) criticisms of it in the I Kissed A Firefighter I Got Lucky St Patrick’s Day Firefighter shirt in other words I will buy this vein of “support for those in parts less well served by public transport was insufficient” and “subsidies don’t adequately cover costs to small businesses and poorer people in those areas who are reliant on vehicles”. Overall it’s a great idea though and it’s already working. The people I have no patience for at all are my neighbours who: The people who are vociferously against it can rarely muster an ounce of critical thinking, even more rarely do they want to provide evidence to back up their viewpoint. It’s like debating with a potato. I’m against it. I’m not affected, I have two petrol Porsches and a newer diesel so I can go where I want polluting with no charge. It targets the people who have the least again. The same generation of car is being taxed, which at the time of release was being pushed by the government. Just like electric cars, encouraged people to buy them by making them tax free, then stuck a luxury car tax on them for the first 5 years on the road. Money grabbing because money is so badly managed they need to increase revenue to offer the same poor services.

Dumbasses the lot of them and all the twats on social media who applaud them one minute then spit feathers the next when JSO protest against something that’s unbelievable important to us all. Me personally, I don’t care. ULEZ doesn’t effect me as I already drive a hybrid and my work truck has AdBlue. However I know people that it does effect and they are seriously unhappy about it. There’s people that are really struggling with money due to inflation and interest rate hikes and now they are faced with “buy a different car” or pay another tax everytime you need to go anywhere. Yes. Yours is the only comment that seems to remember the past 3 years has been rough as fuck for a lot of people. I wrote this reply below for another comment but I think it works here, too.
