So, if you’re introduced to the new receptionist & they take an instant dislike to you, they may be a third born who can see that you’re a firstborn & they didn’t like you when you were in charge of them when they were 2, they don’t like your kind (older sibling) being in charge of them now. Someone once told me “some people will love you and some people will be repulsed by you. Nothing you do will change either of those things” Its a bit black and white but I’ve learned it to be true. Im an educator and generally get along with everyone I work with but, over the I have been ready for Halloween witch bats T-Shirt moreover I love this years, there have been teachers that have just…not liked me at all. Generally, the things that my people love about me are the things that repulse some people. It sucks, but im learning to accept that fact. My family dislikes me because I use cannabis to control my seizures. But, it’s ok for them to drink every night. I think it’s weird that you expect people should like you for no reason. That’s expecting a lot imo. As long as they are polite and respectful, I couldn’t care less if we like each other. Especially true if at work. I guess why I feel this way is because I’m not actively looking to make more friends at this time. Maybe they get a bad first impression when they met you. I’m a quite person and often have people that I just met asking if I’m “mad” at them but I’m just in my own lane most of the time. There’s always a reason, you might want to ask ’em. You might learn something about yourself, though it’s more likely that you’ll learn more about them. I think everyone who dislikes me feels like they have valid reasons. I’m not inclined to care, inquire about their reasons, or debate the validity of their reasons.
