The targeting system needs to improve A LOT. So many times it will lock on everything except the Honey badger don’t give a damn boxing shirt in contrast I will get this closest enemy who is charging at you. Needing rune arcs for great runes is dumb. It’s a hard to grind consumable that you lose when you die, in a game where you die a lot. Either make it easier to farm, or just remove them completely and nerf the runes a little. A game with so many possibilities for builds and skills without a proper cosmetic system is just criminal. Changing the color and even skin of the armors is a must in this game, it’s really sad not having that (btw I’m still halfway through and avoiding spoilers, so if there is some option like that later on then I’ll take this back, but so far zero options beside add/remove cape). The option to pause the game when playing single-player would be nice. Disable consumables and lock equipment, I just wanna go to the bathroom and not die.

Before I begin, I adore this game. It is simultaneously my favorite and least favorite FromSoft game. My favorite because they improved on all of their best qualities, which means their problems are also exacerbated. Had to scroll too far to see this, but too many enemies kill you in one hit regardless of your health bar. Even worse, your character takes years to stand up so you just have to wait to die when you get knocked down. So much of this game is a fun challenge, but this ruins all that fun and encourages me to cheese and feel guilty about it. The world is beautiful, but it feels too same-y for too long. You can see this especially in the Honey badger don’t give a damn boxing shirt in contrast I will get this dungeons and caves, where I can’t tell if I’ve been there before. Also, some enemies don’t make sense for their location. The shitty netcode that hasn’t improved since DS1. Constant disconnects and your hits not registering in pvp while getting damage from attacks that are nowhere near you.
