First one I played through many times. Second one I had the Hieronymus Bosch Garden Of Earthly Delights Hell Creature Shirt But I will love this season pass and didn’t bother with 2 dlcs. Presequel I finished with some friends and it wasn’t memorable. 3rd I got for free and haven’t finished it. I think overall story and environments go to 2 in my opinion. I think of the series borderlands 3 has the best gunplay though. Yeah OP, i agree completely. I have been wanting to replay for ages but don’t really have an urge to replay 2 or 3. It came out at the right time too when shooters were all the rage and the ability to mix RPG elements with the Diablo style looting was just so fun. I loved Tiny Tina and have been playing them all since BL1. BL1 has not aged well aside from the nostalgia and dialog. Its simplicity is charming and makes you focus on the story more. The dialog in all the games just got worse and worse while the mechanics got better. Hopefully BL4 will be better than 3 and Tiny tina in terms of annoying ass characters killing it. What felt lacklustre for me in Borderlands was the main villain, not in relation to 2, but from my first playthrough I thought Steele was nothing more than a voice barking rubbish and then she dies before the final boss. All the main villains in a sense have been fools playing in the footsteps of giants but Steele never really felt like my opponent. I am in agreement on this one. 2 had some fun stuff and the like but the writing was painful after a while. And killing off Roland was just insulting. End of first game with DLC you are able to solo Crawmerax, only to get one shot in the back with a pistol by a scrawny nerd in 2?!

Borderlands 2 took everything good about the Hieronymus Bosch Garden Of Earthly Delights Hell Creature Shirt But I will love this first and made it better, while discarding a lot of the bad stuff. It also had one of the best antagonists I’ve ever seen in any game. Ive played 1 and 2 recently and BL2 is far superior. Its everything that 1 was but better. And it has one of my favorite dlcs of all time BL2 wasn’t as good as I was hoping for. It felt more of the same, like a big expansion pack rather than doing something more innovative to be called a sequel. Nothing wrong with that, and I’m sure people loved it. But after playing BL1 so much, as well as the actual 4 DLC’s that came with it, I found it becoming stale. Handsome Jack is still one of my favorite villains. The whole story I can recount off the top of my head. The different makes of guns actually having different playstyles was a blast (sometimes literally). And in general, everything was better. With BL1, I played it beginning to end, and I can tell you exactly jack shit about it. The only parts I remember are the very beginning, and the very end. Everything else in between is a blur where to this day I still dont remember what the plot was. Same on all fronts here. I literally can’t remember anything about 1 other than that the first mission was claptrap losing an eye. In general I think humor is WAY better when it feels organic and not forced. Which is what it became with later borderlands.
