Get an inflatable hot tub for a fraction of the Hendon Hooker an American football quarterback Signature Pose T-Shirt moreover I will buy this price. Count how often it gets used, use that to make the decision next year Get her the pool, but make sure you document that you think it’s a bad idea. Then when something inevitably goes wrong with it you can tell her you told her so then spend the next few weeks on the sofa. We did the maintenence every day with the pump, checking the PH levels and chlorine etc, and didn’t actually change the water once filled. Sure you can’t swim in it, but it’s way better than a high sided paddling pool. We’d finish work and just pop in to bob about, chatting, reading, napping, drinking. It was just a lovely place to be. One of my siblings whose got a smaller garden and kids has actually asked to buy it off us and suggested we get a bigger one as our garden is bigger. We’ve had one for the last couple of years and we’re on the east coast of Scotland, so whether it’s warm enough really depends on whether you’re a big Jessie or not. What I would say though is that the round ones aren’t very space efficient. I sold ours at the end of last summer and plan to replace it with an oval / rectangular version instead. Literally good for like 2 weeks of the year. Expensive to run and a pain to maintain as a harsh winter with no maintenance will ruin it

In my experience they take hours to fill from the tap, I mean literally leaving the hot tap running all night. They get cold quickly so need constant topping up and cleaning out and you only get one summer for the price as it will be mouldy by next year. From the age of 2-24 (and counting!) we’ve had one. It doesn’t take that long to put up, if you keep it clean you don’t have to refill it and the fact it’s fucking freezing is all part of the fun. Everyone jumps in at bbqs etc., it’s just great. I love it
