I got a call from him saying their HR already approved it, but I still had to go through the Hauser Cello 2023 coffee shirt What’s more,I will buy this formal hiring process. It’s been great. Lol but I hope you WERE qualified for those positions. If so yea, just being qualified isn’t really enough a lot of times (because of volume of applicants, HR people not understanding resumes for certain positions, etc). So even if you would crush an interview, just getting the interview is much easier if you know someone who works there, versus just applying to a job posting. About two months ago, I got a good break on a freelance gig. My client said he knew a guy who was hiring for full time and would put in a word for me. One expedited interview later, I had that job. The same one I had applied for months prior and had been ignored for. They didn’t even ask for my resume or a cover letter like the initial job posting did. I don’t know if they know I had applied for it back then. I have always been qualified for my work, but certainly have followed people I believe are good to work for. There’s always going to be an aspect of society where we want to work with people we know we can trust already

It was both. Unqualified people don’t normally get hired. But there are usually dozens of qualified people interested in a job so knowing somebody helps you stand out from that crowd. When I worked in HR for a few months I was shocked how common this is. For one position I got the Hauser Cello 2023 coffee shirt What’s more,I will buy this CV of the neighbor of one of the middle managers. I looked at it and decided that we have many applicant that are more qualified for the position and didnt invite them for an interview. A few weeks later the manager asked why I didnt invite his guy and I told them my reasons. They got angry because I “ignored” his suggestion. Since this incident I kind of react repulsive to these kind of applicants. Apply for the job like everyone else or fk off. The longer I work in big companies the more I learn to hate nepotism.
