Does she knjw opal’s limits? Does she plan to wear daily. IF she knows it is fragile and/or would not wear the Halloween Monster Poster Horror Movie Shirt moreover I will buy this engagement ring daily (mb bc of her job or personal preference) then you are all set. She can wear it sparingly or opt to have converted into a “convertible” piece that can slide into a ring setting or be placed on a necklace as the owner wishes. My aunt had her sorority pin converted so she could wear as a pin, a ring OR a necklace! Ultimate flexibility!!!!!! BUT/ if she is not aware of the delicate nature of opal and you know or suspect she hopes to wear her ring daily for a lifetime, you may want to consider making this ring i to a convertible ring/pendant combo Then you could choose another stone for her to wear as her daily engagement ring OR she could just wear a beautiful wedding band alone w/ the opal added on special days.

Looks natural with a lot of I had initially wanted an opal before learning how delicate they can be. I told my partner I reluctantly changed my mind and thought moissanite would be better, but after seeing this I kind of want to change my mind back! Lol
