There’s plenty of poly blends that I actually prefer over cotton. That’s why I have trouble shopping online. Plenty of them feel fine, but I can’t tell which is which, even by % composition Same, massimo dutti has a viscose/poliester/something else blend that it’s the Grinch leopard Boujee Cartoon and Stanley shirt moreover I love this best fabric ever for winter dresses, really soft, durable, and easy to wash. Not all polyester is bad, but bad polyester is terrible. It’s one of the reasons online shopping is difficult. Can’t touch the fabric beforehand. This!!! Not all synthetics feel bad, but the ones that do feel BAD and I don’t know which it is until I’ve worn it! it is terrible! i stopped wearing clothing that had polyester in it, and never went back. not only is it bad for the environment, but the fabric is not breathable and is v uncomfortable. i also found that it traps odors more than cotton or any other natural fabric does I don’t usually feel physically uncomfortable, but I start to smell my own underarms within like 30 minutes of wearing polyester. I don’t wear synthetics anymore. Except special occasion underwear/bras. It’s taken time to get it out of my closet, find good underwear, etc, but I’m much happier. Just say no to plastic in your clothes. Bad for you, the planet, the people making it. Caveat- some natural clothes also hve bad processing. When I turned 24, I suddenly became allergic to every normal deodorant I tried. My armpits would itch like hell. I switched to natural deodorants, which wouldn’t itch, but I’d smell AWFUL, constantly.

Finally figured out the Grinch leopard Boujee Cartoon and Stanley shirt moreover I love this issue was likely the scents and have found a solid unscented gel deodorant/antiperspirant. But the real kicker was when I figured out that the reason I smelled so bad were the exclusively 100% polyester shirts and dresses I was wearing. I bought a light, cotton tshirts from target on a trip when I needed a cheap shirt to get me through one more day when I underpacked. My life was changed! I slowly phased out my polyester and now buy nothing that isn’t at least 80% natural fabric. I sweat easily even in natural fibres. Polyester just exacerbates that problem and makes me feel suffocated if I’m out and about. I can’t do polyester very well myself. If I had the money I’d buy all cotton USA made things to wear to bed. I generally wear t shirts but sweatshirts when I need an extra layer are rarely cotton and I just can’t seem to get comfortable.
