It feels like I am trying to struggle against the Grinch Hat Santa Arkansas Razorbacks Gift Christmas 2023 Shirt and by the same token and current, because I desperately feel the need to move ahead. And so much despair comes from it. When it all becomes too much for me, I drop everything. The expectations on myself, who I wanted to be, the bad luck, the missed opportunities, the regrets. i just put it all down, and go rest on the riverbank because struggling against the current is too much. Suddenly, things are peaceful, and it seems like a relief to me that if this stepping away was possible, then why did I not do it earlier? And if I want to make progress, it seems possible that I can get up and start walking along the river without jumping in. And slowly I know when the current is favourable and will let me jump back in to pick up some speed. I know this has al become really metaphor heavy, but its the best way to express the moments when things feel lighter.
