The current ANC is fully in Russia’s pocket. Every position the Grinch Hat Santa and Dog Rugby Helmet Florida State Seminoles Logo Merry Christmas Shirt in other words I will buy this ANC currently taken on global politics can be predicted in advance by simply looking at Russia’s position. If you’re too cowardly to condemn the invasion of Ukraine then sorry if I’m skeptical of the genuineness of your claimed sympathy for Palestinians. Does the word genocide just not mean anything anymore? It has very specific criteria and there isn’t really any evidence suggesting that is happening here. Israel can be bad and also not be committing genocide… (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; They will soon be closing in on 1% of the population of Gaza (about half way there with no ceasefire in site). They question is how many people = “a part”? That was never defined. Also not defined, conditions of life. Does the destruction of hospitals and other infrastructure count? Access to potable water? How many more will suffer/die due to the conditions created by this war? It will certainly shorten the lifespan of many more thousands of Palestinians that won’t be counted in the final tally. I’m sorry, but you can’t just gesture at the amount of bombs dropped and call that evidence of genocide. That doesn’t really suggest the intent that is required for genocide and as I stated in my other comment, considering the amount of explosives, Israel either is awful at genocide or not trying to do that. This is like saying the US was trying to perpetrate genocide against Germany during WW2, because they dropped so many bombs during the conflict.

“Gesturing at the Grinch Hat Santa and Dog Rugby Helmet Florida State Seminoles Logo Merry Christmas Shirt in other words I will buy this number of bombs dropped” is not what that article says. You pretend to know more about what constitutes genocide than an Israeli professor of genocide studies and the Holocaust as part of excusing it, and it’s horrifying. Bad rhetoric alone is not conclusive evidence of genocide. Cutting off aid and needs is bad, but also not really genocide, unless a significant portion of the population has perished from famine and no one has noticed yet. Since this article was published, they have been letting aid get through, so hopefully it doesn’t come to that. Is there anything I missed? Thats cute you found a professor who backs up your pre conceived world view. Would you like me to find a professor of genocide who argues this doesn’t constitute a genocide? If you actually want me to, I will, but I get the sense you are not interested in what they have to say. I see eight hundred and eighty scholars of international law, conflict studies, and genocide studies signing on in this example. I am willing to see what examples of qualified parties you can find to compare, though I am disappointed that you find identifying genocide to be “cute.”
