“It was unclear if those staff members were at the Golden Girls Queens rainbow LGBT shirt moreover I will buy this school at the time of the shooting.” Sensationalism at its finest and you morons don’t fuckin read. Good guy with a gun thing is illogical. So they can stop someone from killing more people? Why is one death ok? People were so busy calling out the police in Texas cowards for not charging in after the shooter they missed the point. The shooter was armed with military weapons and obviously, wasn’t going to be reasoned with. This whole gun industry narrative that school employees should have hand guns so they could gun down someone with an AR-15 is total shit. Our country needs to go back to having an assault weapons ban and should ban the ammo too.I have zero experience with guns (Australian ftw). But I would assume that being able to use a weapon to fight back against an armed person must require a LOT of training. And not just a 4-hour course once per year, but ongoing. Teachers can’t do SWAT police level training, they have full time jobs.

The overwhelming majority will flee or freeze. The average person isn’t a hero and will not hunt down an active shooter. No matter how well you think you will act in a situation as this I guarantee you, you will very likely flee when your life is in real danger. Goes to show that giving teachers guns won’t lead to them stopping school shootings… instead it just makes it more dangerous if a teacher ends up snapping at their shithead students, and increases the Golden Girls Queens rainbow LGBT shirt moreover I will buy this risk of a student being able to rummage through their desk when the teacher is out of the room and grab their gun. I’m one of those folks who thinks that everyone who can legally be armed should be, and here’s the thing that we learn in firearm safety classes:

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
