Yeah with the God Bless America Independence Day Shirt in contrast I will get this amount of Karen’s that order doordash, it’s not IF they call the cops/complain to doordash, it’s WHEN… I have my camera queued up and ready to take the picture as soon as I set the food down so I’m not in front of the door more than 5 seconds. To stop and pose, yeah that’s cringe to me LOL Same. I don’t even like turning back around to take a pic. The people watching him through the peephole or Ring probably think he’s trying to steal something. This is funny as fuck. It doesn’t seem like you’re doing to earn more tips; seems like it’s just cause you’re funny. I’m not a driver, but as a customer, I would tip more simply because it’s a layer of positivity/personality that’s absolutely 100% not needed in the slightest. If this were some Chik-fil-a “my pleasure” BS, than I’d agree with cringe. It’s too much. Take good orders, drop quickly, and move on. Besides no way to say for sure it’s the pic that gets you the extra tips, they may just be the luck of the draw. I’ve done around 2,000 deliveries and I’ve had maybe two people add tips on after delivery. And those were merchant orders where it asks them if they want to add a tip after delivery. I would say without a doubt that those people are tipping you because of the picture, even the ones who didn’t tell you they are. You’re loving your best life and doing wholesome acts. This for sure would make my day better just by looking at it, so you do you man :)!

At least it looks like you put in some effort when dropping off the God Bless America Independence Day Shirt in contrast I will get this order. I have an outward facing screen door and most of my dashers put my order right in front of the door. I can’t open the door without knocking my food over. I think it’s entertaining. You could bring a stuffed animal dog and cat and ask people if they are a dog or cat person? Like random stuff… I would enjoy the effort Honestly I’d laugh because it’s funny. I’m a decent tipper so nothing on top of that but I think a lot of people whose tip wasn’t that great would tip more to put it simply, I think it’s really cool and I wish more drivers did something fun like that with their orders I’m the type of customer who gets annoyed at over communication and when dashers text you every step of the way. This is fun though. I’d probably add a couple extra bucks to your tip if I had it. I only order through an app anymore is when I am sick. I tip well because I feel the drivers are being abused, but with the high fees and most of that not going to the drivers, I choose to spend my money more wisely. I feel abused for doing the right thing@ I’m calling BS. I get a lot of really greats tips from everyday or multi delivery per week customers. But 100.00 for this pic ? Smh. Does the DD app allow 10 second delay pic or do you take a normal 10 second delay pic, then send the picture in the text?
